Meet The
Sonderling Desingers
Hey! Over here.
We have someone we want you to meet. It’s your future design partner – the one who will take the seeds of your ideas and help them grow to their full potential.
Georgia – The Driver
For most of her life, Georgia followed the straight and narrow. She wanted to know what it was like to ride with the ‘in’ crowd. To follow the path that people expected.
Her design career began with a degree from Monash University, followed by years of experience with major design studios and corporate brands. She may have been fitting in, but it felt like a piece was missing.
Until one day, when she realised the real fun was in taking the driver’s seat. Sonderling is her road less travelled.
As founder and lead designer, she’s the first point of contact for new clients. She’s also a creative expert who brings unconventional thinking to brands that need a lift.
Outside of the studio, Georgia drives for real. She inherited a passion for cars that is nurtured to this day. It even gave her the inspiration for her other cheeky brand, Fat Ass.
Jena – The Dreamer
If we could bottle and sell Jena’s design magic, it would be called the Dream Maker. She has a special skill for hearing about a client’s vision and turning it into tangible design for their brand.
Sharpening her skills with a Graphic Design degree from La Trobe University, Jena combines the power of imagination with the principles of perfect design. Even with hundreds of design projects under her belt, that feeling of making a dream into reality never grows old.
For Jena, Sonderling is a place of experimentation. It’s the design studio for brands who dream of being the flamingo in a flock of pigeons.
In her spare time, Jena loves letting her creative mind run free by working on project cars, reading great books and escaping the mundane in video game worlds.
Ari – The Icon
If you ask Ari, the coolest part of design is the icon. It’s one of the oldest forms of communication in the world and a powerful medium for building brands. He knows exactly how to use a single logo or image to bring out emotions and memories.
At Sonderling, he plans to turn conventional design on its head. It’s about giving clients a new way of seeing their brand – out with the expected, in with the inventive.
It’s a motto that has already served him well on his design journey. He combines a graphic design degree from RMIT University with the new school of YouTube tutorials; which helps keep his design skills one step ahead of emerging trends.
After-hours, you can find Ari enjoying another type of icon – his favourite musicians live on stage. Or you might spot him jogging around any of Melbourne’s most iconic sites.
