Georgia spent years riding the expected path. Degree from Monash University. Major studios. Corporate brands. All the “right” steps. Until she realised the real fun begins when you take the driver’s seat.
As Sonderling’s founder and lead designer, she is the first touchpoint for new retainer clients. She helps them unlock the confidence to go bigger, bolder and more unconventional. Georgia also happens to drive for real, with her passion for cars sparking her second cheeky brand Fat Ass.
Julia – The Alchemist
Julia sees possibility where others see paper. She transforms flat ideas into tactile, dimensional pieces that demand attention in the real world. She studied across Curtin University, LCI Melbourne and explored deeper study at RMIT. Julia never stops evolving her craft.
To her, not fitting in is a creative requirement. She delights through surprise. Foil where no one expects it, colour where tradition would say no. Outside Sonderling, she finds balance with pilates, dogs, books and quiet sunshine walks.
Ari – The Icon
Ari believes icons hold power. A single mark can carry identity, history and feeling. His mission at Sonderling is turning convention on its head and making design feel fresh again.
With a Graphic Design degree from RMIT plus the wild world of YouTube tutorials shaping his edge, Ari designs for the future without losing sight of timeless principles. After hours, you’ll find him chasing musical icons live around Melbourne’s most iconic venues and landscapes.
Brittany – The Anomaly
Brittany never softened her edges to fit in. She sharpened them. Her VCE Studio Arts project on “Anomaly” took her all the way to a Premier’s Award. It shaped her belief that uniqueness matters.
She taught herself Adobe early, followed curiosity into science electives at university and learned from mentors in publishing and book design. Brittany is obsessed with branding and what makes a business truly remarkable. She also upcycles textiles in her spare time, turning waste into worth. The exact same way she turns raw brand potential into intentional design expression.
Jena – The Dreamer
Jena is the Dream Maker. Her gift is seeing the dream before the brand even knows how to articulate it. With a Graphic Design degree from La Trobe University, she combines imagination with design precision.
For Jena, Sonderling is where rule bending becomes normal. Brands come here to be the pink flamingo in a flock of pigeons. Outside the studio, she works on project cars, devours books and finds magic in video game worlds.
